Congratulations Rakiya! Her short film has been recognized by the Canadian Council on Learning and is currently posted on their site here.

The Silent Epidemic helps to raise questions about how HIV/AIDS is addressed in the school system. What can students and teachers do to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS? How can students and teachers build a safe and supportive environment for those affected by HIV/AIDS? And what are some strategies that students can use to involve other students in creating better awareness, support and solidarity?
