Take Home TCM: Diet Therapy 101

Coffee is hot and bitter in nature, while green tea is cold and bitter in nature. Learn about the inherent nature of the food you eat and how to eat for your unique constitution. A basic introduction food energetics as well as how food preparation influences those energetics and how nutrients and our digestive function are the root to our health and wellness.
Christina Chan is a Community Acupuncturist, educator and proprietor of the grassroots project, Heart & Hands Health Collective. Active in the community, she is passionate about using acupuncture as a tool for social change through providing outreach, increasing accessibility and bringing the practice back to its traditional roots.
Audrey is a logician, feminist, martial artist, knitter, and rock climber (in no particular order) happily living on a large Canadian island with her boyfriend and their pack of wild dogs. She is also an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department at the University of Victoria.
